About the Project
On September 30, 2007, the date of early parliamentary election,
Consortium “National Exit Poll’2007”, which includes the Democratic Initiatives
Foundation, the Kyiv International Institute of
Sociology and the Oleksandr Razumkov Center for
Economic and Political Research, will held the National Exit
Poll’2007, a voter’s poll at the exits from the polling stations.
This will be the ninth all-Ukrainian exit poll organized by the
Democratic Initiatives Foundation. The plan is to cover about
20,000 respondents at 300 polling stations.
The main goal of the Project is to ensure
efficient public control over fairness of the election
procedure.
The poll results will be presented across Ukraine and by four
regions: Western Region: Zakarpattya, Volyn,
Rivne, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernivtsi and Khmelnytskyi
oblasts; Central Region: Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia,
Kirovograd, Cherkasy, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kyiv oblasts and
the city of Kyiv; Southern Region: the Crimea and the
oblasts of Odessa, Mykolayiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhya and
Dnipropetrovsk; Eastern Region: the oblasts of Kharkiv,
Donetsk and Lugansk.
